Top down shooter with Astroids like gameplay, and multiple game modes.


Our main goal our whole group wanted to do was create a game in Processing, so that was our original inspiration for our project. From there we discussed ideas we thought were feasible and interesting and we finally settled on the idea for a top down shooter type game. We tried to make our game easy to understand and play, but also something that could in time become challenging the further you get. Something like an old school arcade game. Some of the things I was most proud of was that we actually had the time to implement four different gameplay modes. One of them even has enemies as characters and you have to type that character to shoot at and destroy it. I was also happy with some of the extra touches we added like sound effects, music, and backgrounds that gave the game some extra polish.
